Factors which affect the 'per square metre' rate of decking installations (over and above the specific timber surface required), include structural requirements, shape, size, location, design of decking surface and the specific treatment of the decking timber.

Promotion Pricing Details

The promotional prices as mentioned on the opening page assume the following:

• No special structural consideration - structure to residential specification

• Rectangular or square shape with no patterns in the surface design

• Pretoria based installation with size to exceed 80m²

• No treatment costs included in the promotional pricing - this is because there are a number of treatments available at differing costs as well as the option (on the Ironbark) not to treat the timber at all and simply allow it to age naturally

These variables as mentioned above allow for the lowest possible costing on a deck. Understandably, the installation pricing differs as these variables change.
